Admire the Beauty of the Cascade Complex
In Yerevan, Armenia, there is a complex of buildings called The Cascade. The Cafesjian Museum of Art can be found there, along with terraced gardens that are connected by long staircases. The structure was partially constructed in the 1980s after being planned around the 1920s, but it was put on hold multiple times until 2002.

Standing tall on a hill with a commanding view of the entire city, the Mother Armenia Monument is a reminder of the area’s Soviet heritage, much like the Mother Georgia monument in Tbilisi. The monument was built as a World War II victory memorial, and the statue on top was originally that of Joseph Stalin.
